The following are examples of some of our final products and projects:

1. Stock Take & Order Confirmation Application(STOCA): An application with Windows based Graphical User Interface(GUI) with high usability and quality display to read and update stock.
   
   STOCA has the ability to read and process Advanced Shipping Notices(ASNs) and Serial Shipping Container Codes(SSCCs) and supplementary data. The data is subsequently serially/wirelessly uploaded to a back-end system.



2. Muster & Tracking System(MTS): System consists of an MTS Client and an MTS Server. The client reads and updates a file with data captured externally. The client runs on the provided Symbol PPT2800 scanner(handheld device). The server is an MS Windows application which allows the captured data on the scanner to be uploaded to a desktop or similar device via MS Active Sync.



3. Bluetooth Ticket Printer: This application has a client running on a Symbol PDT8146 with Pocket PC 2002 which queries an MS SQL 2000 Server database for the current prices of products displayed on the shop floor shelf. If the product prices and/or descriptions require updating, the user is able to print a new ticket with the correct values using a Zebra QL320. The communication with the printer is via Bluetooth and the communication between the server and handheld is through Wireless LAN.



4. Post-Code Server: This application replaces the wired serial connection between a data entry point and PLC controller. At time of sorting, post-code information is entered using an industrial keyboard or by use of a Bluetooth barcode scanner. The post-code is trasferred over wireless LAN to the Post-Code server which displays the post-codes arriving from 15 stations in real time and creates reports on various statistics as well as communicating with the PLC Sortation System.



5. Instore Information System: Allows merchandisers to syncronise their objectives/tasks to a PalmOS/PocketPC. This in-turn is connected through a modem to the Enterprise Server. Upto 275 users scattered all over Australia are able to bring the informaton stored at the head office to the point of activity and collect information on their Symbol Mobile Scanning terminals(SPT1700-Palm OS). They can then upload the collected information to the central data depository at their head office where reports can be generated.
